Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) is available to undergraduate Federal Pell Grant recipients with high financial need who have not earned a bachelor's degree. Preference is given to students who are attending on a full-time (12 or more credit hours) basis and availability is based on annual federal allocations.
Eligibility
- Must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant.
- High financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). WBU gives priority to students with Student Aid Index (SAI) [formerly Expected Family Contribution (EFC)] of negative or $0 values.
- At least half-time enrollment. Grant may be prorated if enrolled less than full-time.
Award Range
$100-$4000 based on enrolled hours and availability of funds.
