Information and resources for current students at Wayland Baptist University.



All students, faculty and staff be advised. Wayland Baptist University will require Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for users to access their Wayland Email and Office 365 accounts. This change will go into effect on June 23, 2022. After June 30, accounts will no longer be able to login without setting up MFA.  This change is to comply with federal regulations and reduce risk.

On or after June 23, you will be prompted to turn on MFA when first logging into or any Microsoft product connected to your Wayland account.

Additionally, you can set up MFA with Office 365 installed on your computer: 

  1. Close all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access)
  2. Open Microsoft Word.
  3. From the Home Screen, click on "Account" Bottom Left.
  4. From the Account Screen, click on Sign Out.
  5. Click on Sign In to Microsoft Office and follow the on screen instructions to enable MFA.
