Before You Begin

Have access to the personal email account you provided to Wayland. Your WBU username and temporary password will be sent to that address.

Check your spam or junk folder if the message does not appear in your inbox.

 

MyWBU Setup Guide

Set Up Your Account in Five Steps

Once you have your WBU username and temporary password, follow these steps to activate your account and access Self-Service.

    Access MyWBU

    Sign In with Your Temporary Password

    Visit MyWBU and enter the username and temporary password provided in your login email. Select Sign In to continue.

    Protect Your Account

    Create a New Password

    After your first successful login, you will be prompted to replace your temporary password. Choose a secure password that you can remember and do not share it.

    Use a unique password that you do not already use for another account.

    Verify Your Identity

    Complete Security Verification

    MyWBU will guide you through adding a verification method. Select an option that uses a phone number or email address you can access regularly.

    Prepare for Recovery

    Set Up Your Recovery Options

    Complete the requested recovery settings. These options help you regain access to your account if you forget your password later.

    Choose information you will remember but that other people cannot easily guess.

    Access Student Services

    Open Self-Service

    Once setup is complete, select Go to Apps. Find the application titled Self-Service and select it to continue.

    Self-Service provides access to important academic and student account information.

Your MyWBU Account Is Ready

You can now use your WBU login to access available student applications and services.
