PLAINVIEW – Four students from Wayland Baptist University’s graphic design program were selected for publication in Creative Quarterly #66.
Founded in New York City in 2005, Creative Quarterly is an international journal focusing on promoting the best work in graphic design, illustration, photography and fine art. The magazine receives more than 2,500 submissions for each contest. Under the guidance of graphic arts professor Dejan Mraovic, Wayland students have had success getting their creations published in the magazine.
Creative Quarterly #66 recognizes the work of Anna Epp who redesigned a standard deck of playing cards. Her work is entitled “Playing With the Seasons.” Allison Kirk’s work “Cuban Revolution: Ernesto Che Guevara,” a commemorative poster depicting an historical event, and two post tourist posters feature Route 66 by Allyson Vinson and Alli Ferguson also made the publication.
