ABRAHAM ART GALLERY

Hat in the Water

One of the many jewels on the Plainview campus of Wayland Baptist University is the Malouf Abraham Family Art Center, widely known as the Abraham Art Gallery. Designed to increase cultural awareness and artistic heritage, the Abraham Gallery was made possible thanks to the generosity of Dr. Malouf and Therese Abraham. An avid art collector and patron, Dr. Abraham designed the gallery space himself in collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Institute. The result is one of the finest and most elegant University galleries in the Southwest.

Students at Wayland take advantage of the wonderful opportunities the Abraham Art Gallery provides. The gallery seasons includes a variety of exhibitions featuring a full range of media, techniques and concepts. Shows feature the works of both established professional and emerging regional artists, as well as exhibitions of nationally renowned collections.
