From Wayland Halls to a School of Law
CLASS OF 1988
Noe Valles graduated from Wayland with a Bachelor of Arts double majoring in History and Spanish in 1988. He later went on to receive his J.D. at Texas Tech’s School of Law in 1993.
He’s currently a Shareholder partner at Glasheen, Valles & Inderman, LLP, a personal injury law firm with offices in Lubbock, Odessa, Austin, El Paso and Albuquerque. Valles has also served on the UMC Board of Managers, and at one point served as Chairman of the Board. He’s also currently serving on the City Bank Board of Directors.
Valles credits Wayland with providing him with an education that, “helped me get into law school and an education that has served me well being a lawyer.”
When asked what his favorite memory of Wayland was, Valles had a surprising answer.
“Believe it or not, I enjoyed attending chapel. Dr. Estelle Owens and Christa Smith inspired me to reach for the sky.”
As far as the future is concerned, Valles says he wants to, “keep helping families whose loved ones have been injured or killed because of someone else’s negligence.”
