Counseling Services On Campus
Campus Services:
The Counseling Center, assists Wayland students with everyday problems and stresses, as well as other matters they wish to discuss. The office is managed by a full-time counselor to help students with personal and social concerns. We provide a secure, confidential environment where students are able to experience growth and healing by learning and practicing healthy and appropriate problem solving skills.
Our counseling services are confidential and visits are never reported on an academic transcript or in a placement file. When appropriate, the counselor can refer students to other specialized counseling services available in the surrounding area.
Available services include:
• Individual counseling
• Pre-Marriage and couples counseling
• Group counseling
• Crisis intervention
• Referrals when needed
