WBU Trip Includes Hall of Fame Enshrinement
PLAINVIEW – On the heels of Wayland Baptist University receiving the announcement of the Flying Queens being inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the Wayland Alumni Association has added the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony into its fall trip to Massachusetts.
The enshrinement ceremony will take place Sept. 5-7 in Springfield. WBU Alumni is planning a trip to Massachusetts September 5-10. The trip is open to anyone interested in traveling with the university group. Registration is open through May 1.
Along with tickets to the Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony, the trip includes tours of the Hall of Fame, two nights in Springfield, three nights in Boston, dinner at Faneuil Hall, a Spirit of Boston dinner cruise, an alumni banquet and a Boston Harbor ferry trip. All accompanied by a professional tour guide. Prices vary depending on maximum room occupancy. The cost for four people per room is $1,350 each with the cost per person for a single room is $2,550.
