Freeman to Perform Faculty Recital

Assistant Professor of Collaborative Piano Dr. Kennith Freeman will perform his first recital as a member of the Wayland faculty on Jan. 22.

PLAINVIEW – Dr. Kennith Freeman, assistant professor of collaborative piano at Wayland Baptist University, will perform a faculty recital at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, in Harral Memorial Auditorium.

Although he has accompanied many performers on the Wayland stage, this will be the first solo concert by Freeman since joining the School of Music faculty in 2015. He will perform a variety of selections, including a sonata by Joseph Haydn, “Three Barcarolles by Ned Rorem, “Papillons, Op. 2” by Robert Schumann and “Napoli Suite pour le Piano” by Francis Poulenc.

Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
