PHOENIX – The staff at Wayland Baptist University in Phoenix recently made a donation of collected goods to the Arizona Baptist Children’s Services (ABCS).

As part of Wayland’s ongoing effort to support the communities in which it serves, the Phoenix staff chooses one or more specific charities each year to support through donations. This year, the group collected clothing and shoes for babies and children, as well as other baby items, stuffed animals, and Easter baskets during the months of February and March.

Staff members Nikk Cullison and Jennifer Olson delivered the goods last week and were treated to a tour of the ABCS facilities, learning more about the many services the organization provides. ABCS works diligently to feed the hungry, collect food, diapers, and clothing, and assisting with cleanup and remodeling projects, that benefit thousands of people across Arizona each year.
