Pena, Trevino to Perform Senior Recital

Jaden Pena (left) a senior from Plainview and Jonathan Trevino, a senior from Childress, will perform their joint senior recital. Pena will perform on the bassoon, while Trevino plays the B-flat clarinet.

PLAINVIEW – Wayland Baptist University seniors Jaden Peña and Jonathan Trevino will perform a joint recital at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, March 31 in Wayland’s Harral Memorial Auditorium. Admission to the event is free and the open to the public.

Pena, from Plainview, is the son of John David Peña and Diana Sierra. He is majoring in all-level instrumental music education. Trevino, the son of Ruben Trevino, Jr., and Delyn Lankford, is from Childress and is also majoring in all-level instrumental music education. Peña will perform on the bassoon while Trevino plays the B-flat clarinet.

The concert will feature a number of compositions with guest performers including Dr. Kennith Freeman on piano, Dr. Anthony J. King on cajón, and Trent Hopson on bassoon.
