PLAINVIEW – The School of Music at Wayland Baptist University will present a special lecture/recital event at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Wayland’s Harral Memorial Auditorium.

The event will feature Dr. Kimberly Brown, Dr. Sandra Mosteller and Dr. Richard Fountain performing “To be Sung Upon the Water” by Dominick Argento. The work is based on the poetry of William Wordsworth, and the lecture will cover information about the poetry and the imagery within the music.

Admission to the concert is free and open to the public.
