ENACTUS seeking nominations for Women in Business

February 25, 2014

PLAINVIEW -- Wayland Baptist University’s ENACTUS group is seeking nominations for the 9th annual Women in Business banquet set for 6 p.m. on April 29.

ENACTUS, an organization for students interested in business, is asking community members to nominate deserving women. The goal is to recognize women who have had an influence on the community and business, through their service and accomplishments.

Nominations are due by March 21. Nominees may be from the Plainview area, and nominations should include the woman’s business affiliation and involvement, along with her contact information. A brief essay should accompany the nomination, listing any major accomplishments, awards and impact on the community as a whole. Those nominating should also include their own name and contact information.

Last year, ENACTUS honored Heather Leal Waller, Laura Kelley and Kay Harris. If you are interested in making a nomination or attending the banquet, please contact Debbie Lane in the WBU School of Business at 806-291-1020, or by email at laned@wbu.edu. Nomination may also be mailed to the Wayland ENACTUS Team at 1900 W. 7th, CMB 1268, Plainview, Texas 79072. For more information contact Lane or ENACTUS team sponsor Dr. Sam Van Hoose at 291-1029.
