WBU taking study tour to China

PLAINVIEW – The Wayland Baptist University School of Languages and Literature and the School of Fine Arts are planning a joint study tour to China in May 2011. Anyone interested in the trip may attend a general information session at 12 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17 in room 205 of Gates Hall.

Led by Dr. Cindy McClenagan, dean of the School of Languages and Literature, and Dr. Yahui Zhang, assistant professor of communication and media studies, the three-week course will be held from May 9-28. The first week will be spent in Plainview, learning aspects of Chinese culture and communication, with the final two weeks being spent in China. Students can receive course credit for COMS 1303, professional communication, or ENG 2303, world literature. Both of these courses can fulfill general core requirements.
