Wayland offering half-price tuition for summer terms

PLAINVIEW -- Wayland Baptist University will again offer half-price tuition for its three summer microterms at the Plainview campus, repeating a special offer began five years ago.
The three-week terms involve intensive study in three-hour sessions held daily. Some classes meet each morning or each afternoon, while a few meet in the evenings. Classes are being offered in a variety of fields, from basics such as math or English to upper-level courses. A listing of classes slated can be found on the Wayland Web site at www.wbu.edu.
For the first two sessions, which run June 2 - 20 and June 23 - July 11, tuition is $178 per credit hour for undergraduate tuition and $143 per hour for graduate courses. The final microterm, held July 14 - Aug. 1, costs $190 per hour for undergraduate level courses and $155 per hour for graduate work.
Registration for summer courses is held from 8-10 a.m. on the first day of classes. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration or financial aid arrangements made in advance.
