PLAINVIEW – It’s time to round up the Pioneers in the Dallas and Fort Worth area!
Dr. Bobby Hall, President of Wayland Baptist University, and Jeffrey Vera, the university’s Director of Alumni and Career Services, invite alumni throughout the metro area to join them later this month at one of two alumni gatherings.
Joined by members of the WBU Advancement staff, Hall and Vera will be at Los Vaqueros Restaurant on Thursday, March 23, and at Buca di Beppo in Frisco on Friday, March 24. The cost is only $20, but reservations are required.
“Join us for a casual gathering, where you can enjoy great food while learning about what’s happening at your alma mater and enjoying fellowship with other Pioneers,” Vera said. “We are going to have a great time, and you might even win one of our prize drawings.”
Los Vaqueros Restaurant is located at 2629 North Main in Fort Worth. Buca di Beppo is located at 8580 Texas Highway 121 in Frisco. Reserve your seat for the Fort Worth gathering by going to https://bit.ly/3Ztx7im or reserve your seat for the Frisco event going to https://bit.ly/3EYWBMh by March 21.
“Wayland Baptist University is a very special place, both to those who attended and those who choose to invest in her students and her mission,” Vera said. “If you’re an alum, know that your relationship with Wayland does not end when you graduate. We want you to stay connected through alumni events, our magazine, and social media avenues.”
