Military Education Programs
Wayland Baptist University has numerous military education programs across the western half of the United States, many of which are located on-site at U.S. military installations. Whether you're based in Texas, Alaska, Hawaii, or any number of other states across the Southwest, we've got a location near you to help you excel in your educational and career goals.
We even have courses for military education online, so you can move towards graduation without having to be inside a classroom. In fact, many of our students are able to complete their professional military education program while deployed!
Military Education Programs and Military Benefits
At Wayland, we understand that military education benefits are a critical part of being able to pay for an education. To that end, our admissions and financial office staff are well trained to help you navigate through the application process, helping you set up your courses, helping you determine the best source of funding, and even helping you plan out how your military education program will fit in with your military schedule. We won't leave you hanging!

Military Education Programs Student Profile
"The experience at Wayland helped me make my main dream a reality by having the correct courses of study that I needed to achieve my dream," he said. "Wayland also helped by being adaptable to the military way of life to support me as a military student, like being understanding when I deployed, being flexible when I had a TDY or military exercise commitment that I couldn't break."
"(The degree) has given me a sense of achievement that I'd never known. To be a college graduate in itself proved to me that I was smart enough and patient and persistent enough to be successful. It also encouraged me to go for my master's degree," he said. "My Wayland experience has helped me be a better manager, a better student, and along the theme of a Christian college, to have a better relationship with God, my family, and my friends."
