Wayland has made it easier for law enforcement personnel, their spouses and dependent
children to afford college. Qualifying students receive up to $1,000 per term, up
to four terms per year, along with applicable credit for qualified work experience
and job training.

Up to $500.00 (Part time student)
Applicants are required to be fully admitted to the university
Applicants must be considered full-time (Graduate, 6 Credit Hours; Undergraduate,
9 Credit hours) to receive up to $1000.00 for WBUOnline and external campuses.
Part-time undergraduates taking 6 credit hours may receive up to $500.00 for WBUOnline
and external campuses.
Law enforcement employees must have completed POST or CALEA-certified academy, and
be currently employed in a position that requires that certification to be maintained,
or be the spouse or dependent child of someone who is.
Law enforcement employees must show proof of current law enforcement employment at
the beginning of the first enrolled term, and the beginning of each academic year
