Director's Message

Welcome to Wayland Baptist University-Albuquerque.  Here in the beauty of the Rocky Mountain West, our campus offers a variety of degrees in a number of different majors.  Our class sizes are small and very personal.  Through technology and cooperation with other Wayland campuses, we have extended the number of face to face classes we are able to offer.  Through our Virtual Campus program, we have extended the number of degrees that are available.

Like most of Wayland’s campuses outside of Plainview, our primary degree is the Bachelor of Applied Science, a regionally accredited, non-traditional degree that enables adult students to utilize life experience and other types of transcripted training to help them down the path to a regionally accredited degree.  Wayland-Albuquerque, though, also offers other traditional undergraduate degrees.  This means that students at our campus are generationally, ethnically and vocationally diverse.

In addition, Wayland-Albuquerque offers three face to face master’s degree programs: the Master of Arts in Management, the Master of Education and the Master of Arts in Counseling.  The M.Ed. and the MAC prepare students for licensure in their respective fields.  Other graduate degrees, including a Doctor of Management, are available through our Virtual Campus program.

Wayland-Albuquerque is also cost effective.  Our tuition and fee structure is more than competitive when compared with other educational institutions in our area, but with smaller, more personal class sizes.  Our students enjoy the benefits of a quality education in a comfortable environment, without being forced to subsidize all the non-educational activities that drive up the total cost of education at many other universities.

Wayland-Albuquerque would love to help you toward your educational goal.  Give us a call or come by our campus.  Our advisors can quickly assess your situation and help you understand just how close you are to a great degree!
