Tuition & Fees

The tuition and fees for any semester are affected by the number of semester hours taken, any applicable lab fees, the dorm requested, and the meal plan selected. The tuition breakdown indicated below is calculated based on 12 semester hours, a shared dorm room, and a meal plan which provides 14 meals per week.

Typical Costs for One Semester

These estimated university fees apply only to Plainview Campus students. If you are attending another campus, please check the campus page for tuition information.

Meal Plan Rates

Weekly meal plans are only usable in the main dining hall in the University Center on the Plainview campus. Unused meals on the weekly plans do not carry over from week to week. The Flex plan may be used in the main dining hall or Pete’s Place downstairs in the University Center. Unused Flex Plan meals do not carry over from semester to semester.

Living on Campus

Residence halls and the dining hall are closed during those university holidays designated in the university calendar.

Unless excused by the Dean of Students, Wayland requires unmarried students enrolled for seven or more semester hours to live in a residence hall and to purchase a meal plan.
