Student Employment

Looking for a job while you are in school?

Students at Wayland have to opportunity to gain valuable work experience and earn money to supplement their time at Wayland through student employment. Student positions are available on campus in most operational and academic offices.

The Office of Financial Aid keeps a Student Employment Department list that includes all offices that generally offer Work-Study positions. Check with Financial Aid to find out where there might be a position available. You will be required to contact any of these departments  in person in order to find employment. Contact our Student Employment Coordinator in the Financial Aid office with any questions you might have.

After securing a job on campus, a student must sign a Work Agreement. Contact the Financial Aid office to acquire your Work Agreement. Time Sheets are also handled through the Financial Aid office, they are due on the 15th and last day of each month. Generally, students may only work up to 20 hrs a week at the current minimum wage.

International students are able to participate in the Institutional Student Employment program as long as their aid and earnings do not exceed their total budget.

The student will also be required to submit and complete the following documents in order to retain a position:
