About this Program

The religious education minor is for students wanting to delve deeper into religious education practices, while majoring in a different discipline. Students from many disciplines pursue a religious education minor, including philosophy, English, history, psychology, sociology, and education.

The School of Religion and Philosophy’s religious education minor is designed to help aspiring leaders develop firm biblical, historical, and theological foundations, spiritual depth, and other leadership, evangelical, and practical application skills.

In the religious education minor you will experience a combination of classroom work and practical applications as you develop your ability to develop your Christian worldview for service to others.
