About this Program

With a religion education degree you will develop skills necessary to lead staff or educational ministries within the local church.

This program is invested in theoretical, historical, and practical foundations of Christian educational ministry. Students receive training in practical fields like youth internships, family ministry, etc. through biblical, theological, and personal involvement in ministry engagement.

Students in the religious education program will take 39 hours in courses like Christian Theology, Spiritual Formation, Christian Leadership, Adult Ministry in the Church, and many more.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Arts in Religious Education: General requires 124 course hours. A total of 42 hours must be from upper-level courses.
