About this Program

With a recreation and camp management degree, you develop skills for leading ministry through church-based or community programs in recreation and camp management. Students in the recreation management major develop a strong biblical foundation and spiritual formation, while focusing on practical applications of recreation and outdoor management.

The recreation and camp management major requires a combined 70 semester hours between business administration, social science, exercise/sports science, and religion courses, along with a camp management immersion experience.

Students will take courses to fulfill their educational goals, such as: Recreational Shooting, Camping and Backpacking, Fly Fishing, Outdoor Education, Adventure Education, Christian Theology, Supervised Ministry, and many others.

Requirements

A Bachelor of Arts in Recreation and Camp Management requires 124 course hours. A total of 42 hours must be from upper-level courses.
