About this Program

The minor in philosophy is designed for students who desire to delve into a deeper study of philosophy while majoring in a different academic area. Students from many disciplines pursue Philosophy minors, including religion, English, history, physics, and mathematics.

The philosophy minor helps aspiring leaders develop critical thinking skills, an overarching worldview, and a deeper understanding of values, beliefs and abstract concepts. In the philosophy minor you will experience a combination of classroom work and practical applications.

Requirements

The Philosophy minor requires 18 semester hours. This minor does not qualify for BGCT ministerial financial assistance.
