About this Program
In the pre-seminary track for Wayland’s Master of Divinity religion degree, students develop skills needed to lead ministry within the church and prepares students for graduate studies through a variety of religion courses.
The School of Religion and Philosophy’s pre-seminary track program is designed to help ministerial leadership develop a firm biblical, theological and historical foundation, as well as focusing on the Greek language and biblical interpretation.
The pre-seminary track of the religious studies degree allows students to experience a combination of classroom work and practical applications as they develop their ability to serve in ministry in the local church and continue formal theological education. This is a three-year program of graduate and professional programs and students on this track are strongly encouraged to choose Greek to meet general education core language requirements.
