About this Program

Molecular biology studies give students a broad understanding of life science at the basest level through extensive hands-on learning opportunities. The minor calls for 24 hours of localized study, of which 16 must be upper-division.

MATH 1306 (Elementary Statistics) is required for all math and science minors. It may be used to fulfill the additional three hour math requirement in the general education core of the B.S. degree.

Requirements

A minor in Molecular Biology requires 24 course hours. A total of 16 hours must be from upper-level courses.
