About this Program
Minoring in mathematics allows students to study the wide range of courses Wayland’s School of Math and Sciences has to offer, while complementing their major field. A minor in mathematics prepares students for a wide range of careers and opportunities through small class sizes and individualized attention.
The mathematics minor requires 20 hours of study, 9 of which must be upper-level. The minor can be used to fulfill the three hours of math required by the general education core of the B.S. degree.
Requirements
A minor in Mathematics requires 20 course hours. A total of nine hours must be from upper-level courses.
