About this Program

Minoring in mathematics allows students to study the wide range of courses Wayland’s School of Math and Sciences has to offer, while complementing their major field. A minor in mathematics prepares students for a wide range of careers and opportunities  through small class sizes and individualized attention.

The mathematics minor requires 20 hours of study, 9 of which must be upper-level. The minor can be used to fulfill the three hours of math required  by the general education core of the B.S. degree.
