About this Program

An environmental studies minor enables students to focus on the array of concepts that affect the environment, such as hazardous behaviors and materials, regulations, and creation care.

Those holding a minor in environmental studies are well equipped for careers in state and federal government policy and research, criminal justice, and green technologies.

This minor involves study of a variety of sciences.

Students of the environmental studies minor will study biology, chemistry, and environmental science. This minor requires 22 credit hours, 14 of which must be upper level.

Requirements

A minor in Environmental Studies requires 22 course hours. A total of 14 hours must be from upper-level courses.
