About this Program

Students of Wayland's computer science minor enter the workforce with many valuable skills in the Information Technology field.

Students of this minor are required to take 18 hours of computer science specific courses, six of which must be upper level. In addition all math and science minors are required to take MATH 1306 - Elementary Statistics. This course may also be used to fulfill the three hour math requirement in the B.S. degree general education core.

Requirements

A minor in Computer Science requires 18 course hours. A total of six hours must be from upper-level courses.
