May 2025 Study Tour Across Southwest USA

Faculty in the School of Languages and Literature will guide students on a trip of cultural immersion across New Mexico and Southern California, offering courses in 2000-level American literature or Survey of the Humanities, or upper-level literature or humanities electives. Explore the writings, culture, language, art, and architecture of the Southwest while earning course credit for your Core or major.  Participants can earn up to six credit hours during the tour.

 

Annual UK Study Tour

By participating in the School of Languages and Literature's annual United Kingdom study tour during the May-micro term, students can earn course credit while experiencing the beauty and history of UK, led by knowledgeable and caring faculty. Many times, the tour's itinerary journeys through the real-life settings of literary works covered in class, making the subject matter come to life. Participants can earn up to six credit hours during the tour.

Annual Costa Rica Study Tour

The School of Languages and Literature offers students an exciting chance to expand their appreciation for the study of the Spanish language by blending cultural immersion with intensive, conversational language learning in a three-week study tour to Costa Rica nearly every May. Participants can earn up to six credit hours during the tour.
