About this Program

A two-dimensional art degree at Wayland allows students to explore their creative side while earning a bachelor of fine arts.

A variety of exciting courses expose students to multiple mediums as they immerse themselves in the art world. With small class sizes and individualized attention from knowledgeable professors, students explore the varying impact of art on culture and the exciting careers that await them.

The BFA in two-dimensional art requires 42 hours upper-level art courses, along with the university’s required core courses. Students take classes that fulfill their education goals, such as Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Design, and many others.

As a BFA, this program allows students to spend most of their time in one main school of thought, and does not require a minor.

Requirements

The Bachelor of Art in Two-Dimensional Studio requires 124 semester hours.  No need for a minor with this major.  42 of the course hours will be in art and 3 from marketing.
