About this Program

Explore three dimensional art  through a variety of mediums with the instruction of knowledgeable professors in an exciting and challenging environment.

The bachelor’s of fine arts is a pre-professional program that prepares students to directly enter a career in the art world. Wayland’s wide selection of art courses provide avenues for exploration and hands-on experience as students examine many different mediums and discover the impact of art on culture.

The three-dimensional art degree requires 42 hours of upper-level art courses along with the core education courses required by the university. The bachelor’s of fine arts major does not require a minor, and allows students to study within the school of thought that most interests them as they prepare for an exciting career in the art world.

Requirements

The Bachelor of Art in Three-Dimensional Studio requires 124 semester hours.  No need for a minor with this major.  42 of the course hours will be in art and 3 from marketing.
