About this Program

Media communications opens a world of opportunities to students wishing to enter the fields of television, radio broadcasting, print journalism, and more. Through their studies, students receive hands-on experience through Wayland’s on-campus television and radio stations, plus the student-led newspaper, and live-streaming programs.

In order to complete the media communication minor, students must complete 18 hours of topical study.

Requirements

A student pursing the BA or the BS can obtain a minor in Media Communications Specialist.  18 semester hours are required for this minor.
