About this Program
The graphic arts have become increasingly important in a visual world. A Graphic Design degree at Wayland prepares students for a career in an exciting industry. Students have the opportunity to work in a challenging environment, with access to state-of-the-art editing and design programs on Wayland’s high-performance Mac computers.
The Graphic Design degree is a 45-credit-hour program, along with the core courses required by the university. Students take classes like Drawing, Design, Printmaking, and more.
The degree allows students to work in small class sizes, plus have the opportunity to gain work experience through various programs provided by the school, including student art shows and other areas.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design requires 124 semester hours. 45 hours of art courses are required for this major.
