About this Program
A minor in exercise and sport science requires 18 hours of study and provides a foundational understanding of teaching sports and physical education, as well as familiarizing students with general health and safety standards. Exercise and sport science minors take 12 hours of prescribed coursework and add 6 hours of courses which interest them.
Students are encouraged to choose courses that will broaden their expertise in all areas of exercise and sport science. Because of its broad nature, an exercise and sport science minor pairs well with any major program of study from pre-health or biology to business and psychology.
