About this Program

The BCM degree offers students three exciting tracks in order to focus on specific areas of ministry. Students may choose theological studies, Christian ministry, or co-vocational ministry as their area of focus.

While pursuing a Christian ministry degree, students will develop skills necessary for leading staff or pastoral ministries within the local church.

Completing this major will provide students with a strong background in Biblical, theological, and historical foundations, as well as spiritual formation. Through a combination of religion courses and practical applications, students will develop their ability to serve in ministry to the church.

This degree requires 36 hours of major study. Students take courses in Old and New Testament for majors and minors, spiritual formation, Christian theology, Biblical interpretation, advanced Old and New Testament classes, and religious history.
