General Business Specialization, B.A.S.

About this Program

A business degree offers immense versatility in career choice. Business majors have the freedom to tailor their own education by aligning junior and senior level courses with specific career goals. Students will learn how to operate within a business environment, dealing with issues such as accounting, marketing, management and more.

This specialization is offered within the Bachelor of Applied Science degree program. Students can earn up to 12 credit hours for qualified work experience when seeking the B.A.S. degree, with additional credit possible for specialized training.


Student pursing a B.A.S. in general business must complete 124 semester hours, 36 must be upper-level courses.



General Business courses included Business Law, Finance, Marketing, Management and Management Information Systems.
