About this Program

Take part in pioneering a new industry that needs skilled technicians. A cyber security degree prepares students to combat the online security threats businesses and organizations face every day. With a cyber security major, students will receive training to protect valuable information assets, perform risk analysis, and ensure Internet safety.

The cyber security degree prepares students to contribute to secure computing needs of various organizations. Students learn how to secure computing hardware and software, as well as raw data of customers, employees, and other financial assets.

Threats to information are severe and many organizations require skilled staff to combat these challenges. The cyber security degree covers current security methods recognized by security experts. The specialization requires 24 hours in relevant courses, as well as a core business curriculum.

Requirements

A Cyber Security Specialization for the B.B.A. requires 124 semester hours, 42 hours must be upper-level credit.  24 hours of cyber security courses are required for the Cyber Security specialization.
