About this Program

At Wayland, banking and finance students explore accounting, financial principles, and practical competencies needed for banking and financial career opportunities. Students learn to write and analyze financial statements and explore the principles of financial services and investments.

The Banking and Finance program is offered as a specialization with the Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Students can earn up to 12 credit hours for qualified work experience when seeking the B.A.S. degree, with additional credit possible for specialized training.


A B.A.S. in Banking and Finance requires 36 semester hours of business courses, 18 being  upper-level credit.
