About this Program

Students can choose to minor in accounting while pursuing another major. Accounting minors experience coursework which equips them to work with various business financial elements including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, etc.

Wayland’s accounting minor requires 18 hours of study, which fulfills the university’s minor requirement.

The accounting minor serves as an introduction to careers in public accounting, managerial accounting, governmental accounting, accounting education, and even law or business management.

Requirements

Students pursuing the B.A. or B.S. degree may complete a minor in business. Requirements for the 18-hour minor include:
