Doctor of Management

About this Program

The Doctor of Management (DMGT) degree focuses on developing the talents, skills, and abilities of today’s business leaders. The doctorate is offered as a totally online degree consisting of 60 semester hours of coursework in the areas of management theory, organizational behavior and theory, human resource management, and project design to students living in states where Wayland is approved to offer online courses.

This program uses a cohort model and students are expected to take courses in the order in which they are offered.  Courses are offered in 8-week sessions throughout the calendar year.



The Doctor of Management requires 60 credit hours, which includes a 3-credit hour research project and three 0-credit comprehensive exams. 



The School of Business has a highly qualified and experienced faculty.
