About this Program

The law enforcement specialization within the administration of justice degree, is best suited for students wishing to pursue a career working in a police department, sheriff’s office, or local, state, or federal law enforcement agency.

The program takes a unique angle on the administration of justice degree through specialized studies. Courses include Administration of Justice, Introduction to Policing, Criminal Law, and many others.

Students participating in this program are also offered a wide range of hybrid classes, which allows them to complete coursework online and face-to-face while on campus. Students seeking an administration of justice degree, law enforcement specialization, must complete 30 semester hours in their major field, of which 24 must be upper-level credit.

Requirements

The Bachelor of Science in Justice Administration, Law Enforcement Specialization requires 124 course hours. 30 hours of Justice Administration Law Enforcement courses are required.
