About this Program

The Government Administration specialization of the MPA program is designed to prepare students to be analytical thinkers and innovative leaders in federal, state, and local government agencies.  Students will develop an in-depth understanding of the law, management, and practical skills necessary for policy development, agency management, and civil service.  The specialization is geared towards those pursuing careers in public administration who have a desire to serve and impact their community at the government level. 

Requirements

The Master of Public Administration degree specializing in Government Administration requires a total of 36 hours, 18 hours being core courses and 18 hours specializing in government administration.
