WICHITA FALLS ALUMNI SUCCESS STORIES

Douglas Harmer, BSOE (1996) and ME.d. (2004). He was the first at the WF Campus to graduate with ME.d. After completing his MEd, he was given the opportunity to be a civilian munitions instructor in July 2004 at SAFB; from there he moved up to the 381st Training Squadron’s Resource Advisor, in April 2006.

“I was afraid to go back to school because I had been out so long, but from the first day I walked into the office I was reassured. Everyone at Wayland was truly
concerned about helping me complete my educational goals. I was provided with excellent degree counseling and support and a superior education."

"I obtained both a bachelor's and master's degree from Wayland. My bachelor’s degree enabled me to be selected for the Air Force's Copper Cap Program (a highly competitive intern program for the contracting career field). I feel that my master’s degree will enable me to progress more  rapidly as well. "

"I can't thank the administration and faculty at the Wichita Falls     campus enough for all they did to assist me over the years on my academic journey."
