STUDENT SERVICES
Here at Wayland, we are all about Student Services. We want to make your transition into education as easy as possible.
Academic Advising is available Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; walk-ins are welcome! We offer evening, weekend, and Internet classes making it convenient for military personnel and other working adults to fulfill degree requirements. Your professional and technical training as well as CLEP testing can often be accepted as credit hours toward many of our baccalaureate degrees.
Wayland's staff of advisors can share options to finance your education, including military tuition assistance, VA benefits, financial aid and other options. We work with all students to ensure they receive the most financial aid available. All our financial aid forms are available online.
We have an excellent Learning Resource Center (Library) that is accessible online. From our WBU Library you can access online books, articles, research guides, archives, and learn about your local library system. The purpose of the WBU Library is to provide you with the best service and access to resources that support the curriculum of Wayland Baptist University.
We offer Career Services for all our students.
The Office of Career Services provides a wide range of services to assist students and
alumni in their career development. To prepare them for their job search, students can receive
instruction regarding the preparation of applications and resumes and the development of positive interviewing skills. Students can receive career counseling to help them assess their interests, values, and personality characteristics as well as select an appropriate academic major and career area.
