Personal Counseling

Our goal in the Counseling Center is to assist Wayland students with problems encountered in everyday living. We accomplish this by providing a secure, confidential environment in which students can experience growth and healing by learning healthy and appropriate problem solving skills. A full-time counselor is available to help students with personal and social concerns. Counseling is confidential and no record of counseling visits is made on an academic transcript or in a placement file. When appropriate, the counselor can refer students to other specialized counseling services available in the surrounding area.
