Where

Right in the middle of campus, Health Services is on the second floor of the McClung University Center in Suite #210.

Who

All registered Plainview campus students are eligible for services.

When

Open during regular business hours with extended hours as necessary. The coordinator of health services can be contacted for after hour needs or concerns, but staff and students should call 911 for any life-threatening emergencies.

What

Directed by a registered nurse who works in consultation with area physicians, we offer illness assessment with development of an individual self-care plan, first aid treatment or injury assessment, and/or assistance in making referrals to appropriate healthcare providers as necessary.

Although routine services are free of charge including a (2-3 day) supply of over-the-counter (OTC) medications, any medical expenses incurred off campus will be the responsibility of the student.

Flu and travel vaccinations and other immunizations are available for a fee; however, the proper documentation will be provided for reimbursement if it is an eligible benefit on the student’s insurance.
