Write and produce weekday morning newscasts for News/Talk 790, KFYO, sister FM stations and GAP Victoria, TX. Duties also include gathering interviews from KFYO’s morning show and civic leaders for news stories and updating the local news feed at KFYO.com. Work hours for most days will be 4:45am-9am. This position also requires availability on Thursdays until 1pm to be able to attend Lubbock City Council meetings. A normal workload is between 22-29 hours per week.Previous radio experience is a plus, along with knowledge of digital audio editing software (ie: Cool Edit).
