SIERRA VISTA —ACADEMICS

The academic offerings of the Sierra Vista campus mirror the standards of excellence you will find throughout the Wayland Baptist University system.
At the Sierra Vista campus, several degrees are offered. They include:
Academic Calendar
Programs at the Sierra Vista campus are delivered in four semesters each year, with each semester lasting 11 weeks. Classes generally meet once a week, Monday through Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 10:10 p.m., and on Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
Academic Advising
Students at the Sierra Vista campus have access to academic advising and counseling at the main campus and at the Fort Huachuca. Academic advisors at the military bases generally work by appointment; however they do accept walk-ins. Academic advisors are available for walk-ins at our main campus location in Sierra Vista. New students not assigned to a military base may wish to use the walk-in option or call to make an appointment at the main campus in Sierra Vista. New students will be assigned an academic advisor following the initial session.
New students seeking a preliminary degree plan should bring to the appointment copies of transcripts, CLEP, AARTS, DD Form 214 or DD Form 295, and certificates of all employer-based training they want to be evaluated for credit.
Make an appointment to have your credits evaluated and to determine the number of hours needed to complete your associate, bachelor’s, or master’s.
The Ft. Huachuca Office is open: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday.
The Landmark Office is open: 8:00 am to 9:10 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Fridays.
The offices are closed weekends and University holidays.
